Terms of Service
Last updated today. This is a working draft and must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
Using Talkfern
By using Talkfern you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your country requires) and able to form a binding agreement. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your phone secure.
Your content
You own what you send. You give us only the permission needed to carry it between you and the people you choose. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot review them.
Acceptable use
- No harassment, threats, hate, or sexual content involving minors.
- No spam, scams, impersonation or illegal activity.
- No attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use Talkfern to share content you do not have the right to share.
Reporting and enforcement
You can block and report people, groups and channels. We may limit or end accounts that break these terms or the law, within what encryption allows us to know.
Availability
We work hard to keep Talkfern reliable but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Talkfern is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will tell you in the app when we do. Continuing to use Talkfern means you accept the update.
